Opening Days and Retreat
The new formation year for Holy Spirit Seminary began on August 28. After a day of orientation, all the seminarians entered into a spiritual retreat lead by Fr. Doug Lorance, Pastor of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndor, PA. Fr. Doug shared many of his experiences as a priest of 28 years. He was a charismatic and kerygmatic speaker, offering freely the wisdom he has gained through the years.
On Labour Day, we hosted our annual BBQ for many of our supporters. Over 100 people came to enjoy a warm day filled with good food, cheer, and great fellowship with each other. Our dear friend, His Grace, Terrence Prendergast, Archbishop of Ottawa, joined us for the BBQ, and the Moelebn to the Holy Spirit that ended our day.
