Life Chain 2020
In 1987, a small pro-life group called Please Let Me Live in Yuba City, California held the first Life Chain. They have continued to this day. In 1990, Campaign Life Coalition brought Life Chain into Canada from the U.S., igniting a powerful public witness in our country that has endured the test of years, saved lives and changed hearts. It is simply a one-hour silent and prayerful protest along the streets of our cities and towns. Life Chain was held on October 4 this year. In Edmonton, we gathered on 104 Avenue, a major road in the city. About 1800 cars by in that hour witnessing our presence and reading the various signs we held. (Photos: Grandin Media)
