Priestly Ordination of Mykhailo Ozorovych

Fr. Mykhailo Ozorovych was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on April 8, 2017 (Lazarus Saturday) by Bishop Ken Nowakowski, Eparch of New Westminster. The ordination took place at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in New Westminster. The Archdeacon at the ordination was Fr. Joe Ostopowich.

Fr. Mykhailo is married to his wife, Olesia, and they have one son. He is originally from Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine where he did some seminary formation. Fr. Mykhailo finished his seminary studies at Holy Spirit Seminary in Ottawa where he earned a B.Th. (civil) and S.T.B. (ecclesiastical) from Saint Paul University through the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute of Eastern Christian Studies. Fr. Mykhailo will soon be assigned for pastoral ministry.
