Visit to the Parish of St. George and St. Anthony Coptic Orthodox Church

We have blessed over the last few years with the friendship of the clergy and laity of St. George and St. Anthony Coptic Orthodox Church in Ottawa. On Sunday, January 15, 2017, after celebrating the Divine Liturgy in our own chapel, we visited our Coptic Orthodox friends for the end of Matins and the Divine Liturgy. Our rector, Fr. Michael, was asked to read the Synaxarion Reading for the day, and at the end of Liturgy, he received on behalf of the Seminary an icon of Saint Abanoub, a 12-year-old martyr. Many years to all at St. George and St. Anthony Parish in Ottawa!
