Just before the celebration of Great Vespers on Saturday, September 20, 2014, Bishop Ken (New Westminster) ordained Gleb Pistruga to the Minor Orders of Candlebearer, Reader, Cantor, and Subdeacon. On Sunday, September 21, 2014, Subdeacon Gleb was ordained to the Diaconate at the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy presided by Bishop Ken. Participating in both services was Bishop Donald Theriault of the Military Ordinariate of Canada (Deacon Gleb is a chaplain in the Canadian Navy). Together with all the family and friends who joined with the seminary community this day, we offer our heartfelt AXIOS!
