The Earth Overflows With Your Riches!
Part of the formation program involves the seminary community taking time to form bonds of friendship with each other. This past Saturday we travelled to Gatineau Park in Quebec to view the “Fall Rhapsody” – the beautiful fall colours – and to take a short hike on one of the trails near Champlain Lookout. Pictured above are our seminarians waiting for their rector who was busy taking photographs along their route in the forest. Following this afternoon excursion, we joined Very Rev. Archpriest Robert Anderson, a long time friend and benefactor of the Seminary, for Saturday evening Vespers in his chapel. At the beginning of Vespers we sing from Psalm 103 (104) the words, “How manifold are Your works, O Lord, in wisdom You wrought them all. The earth overflows with Your riches.” This allowed us to recall how beautiful it was to spend a relaxing day in the Lord’s creation, to be in awe of the beauty of His design.
